First, find out your breast density!
Get a mammogram or read a recent mammography report.<\/em><\/h4> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

If you don’t have dense breasts, a mammogram will find 98% of cancers.
If you DO have dense breasts, a mammogram will find LESS THAN 50%<\/span><\/strong> of cancers.[2,3,4]<\/sup><\/a><\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

If you have dense breasts (categories C and D), mammography alone may not be enough for you.<\/span>In addition to mammography, there are several additional screening options.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
