No soy famoso, ni miembro de los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, ni una estrella de Hollywood, ni soy especialmente rico. Eso me convierte en alguien como la mayor\u00eda de ustedes. De hecho, podr\u00eda ser t\u00fa: tu hija, tu madre, tu hermana, tu amiga o tu compa\u00f1era de trabajo. Podr\u00eda ser cualquier persona a la que hayas querido de alguna manera, por cualquier motivo. No soy nadie en particular, sino que soy cualquiera, o todos. Me diagnosticaron un c\u00e1ncer de mama en fase IV en noviembre de 2017, dos meses despu\u00e9s de una mamograf\u00eda y una ecograf\u00eda \"sin problemas\". Mi c\u00e1ncer qued\u00f3 oculto por mi tejido mamario denso, que no se detect\u00f3 para que creciera y se extendiera. El hecho de que lo que me pas\u00f3 a m\u00ed realmente podr\u00eda pasarte a ti y a cualquiera que conozcas es exactamente la raz\u00f3n por la que fund\u00e9 My Density Matters. No se trata de m\u00ed y de mi viaje, sino de ti y del tuyo, para que mi historia no se convierta en la tuya.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de que aprenda sobre la densidad mamaria y por qu\u00e9 es tan importante, espero que se sienta capacitada para someterse a una prueba de detecci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer de mama adicional, adem\u00e1s de la mamograf\u00eda, si lo necesita, cueste lo que cueste. star, nor am I particularly rich. That makes me pretty much just like most of you. In fact, I could be you\u2014your daughter, your mother, your sister, your friend, or your coworker. I could be anyone you\u2019ve ever loved in any way, for any reason. I am nobody in particular, but rather I am anybody, or everybody. And that\u2019s precisely the problem. <\/em><\/p> <p><em> I was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer in November of 2017 two months after an \u2018all clear\u2019 mammogram and ultrasound. My cancer was hidden by my dense breast tissue, left undetected to grow and spread. The fact that what happened to me really could happen to you and to anybody you know is exactly why I founded My Density Matters. It is not about me and my journey, but it is about you and yours, <strong>so that my story doesn\u2019t become your story.<\/strong><\/em><\/p> <p><em> After you learn about breast density and why it is so important, I hope you will feel empowered to get additional breast cancer screening beyond mammography if you need it, no matter what it takes.
