Evelyn (Lynne para todos sus amigos canadienses) falleci\u00f3 en paz en Christie Gardens, Toronto, a los 91 a\u00f1os de edad. Nacida y educada en Inglaterra, Egipto y Sud\u00e1frica, Lynne era hija \u00fanica del comandante Frank y la se\u00f1ora Emily Peters. Tras licenciarse en Magisterio en el Reino Unido, Lynne ense\u00f1\u00f3 en escuelas primarias de Inglaterra y Gales del Sur, y complet\u00f3 un maravilloso a\u00f1o de intercambio docente en una escuela de Ames, Iowa. A su vuelta a casa, tras un largo viaje por EE.UU. para ver a muchos miembros de la familia de su padre, Lynne se cas\u00f3 con el amor de su vida, David \"The Boy Next Door\", que la precedi\u00f3 14 a\u00f1os. Ella y David emigraron a Canad\u00e1 en 1964, donde Lynne se convirti\u00f3 en un miembro dedicado, activo y de larga data de\u00a0Grace Church-on-the-Hill<\/a>. Born and educated in England, Egypt and South Africa, Lynne was the only daughter of Major Frank and Mrs. Emily Peters. After graduating from Teacher's Training College in the UK, Lynne taught at primary schools in England and South Wales, and completed a wonderful year's teaching exchange at a school in Ames, Iowa. Upon her return home, after extensive travels in the USA to see many members of her father's family, Lynne married the love of her life, David \"The Boy Next Door\" - who predeceased her by 14 years. She and David emigrated to Canada in 1964, where Lynne became a dedicated, active and long-serving member of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gracechurchonthehill.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"0\">Grace Church-on-the-Hill<\/a>. She served in many capacities including several years leading the nursery school - she so enjoyed her time with the children. \u00a0 Lynne did not have children of her own, but was blessed with over 30 godchildren. Our founder\u2019s husband, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/john-yerger-3145632\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John D. Yerger III<\/a>, was fortunate to be one of those. Lynn was active in the lives of all of her godchildren, never missing a birthday or Christmas. She generously willed each of her godchildren a sum of money, of which John\u2019s will be used to begin The Lynne Youston Memorial Internship Fund at My Density Matters. Lynne loved the youth, believed in them, cheered them on, enjoyed watching them grow, and reveled in their accomplishments.
