My Story Matters Program | Terms & Conditions – v2024.05.16.LFY<\/span><\/p>\n

Welcome to the “My Story Matters” program, an initiative dedicated to collecting and sharing personal stories from individuals who have experienced missed breast cancer diagnoses due to breast density. By participating in this program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:<\/p>\n

Submission of Stories.<\/strong> By submitting your story, whether in the form of videos, written statements, or quotes, you grant My Density Matters and its affiliates the non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, distribute, and display your story for the purposes outlined in these terms and conditions.<\/p>\n

Purpose of Use.<\/strong> The stories collected through the “My Story Matters” program may be shared on social media platforms, websites, presentations, blogs, and other communication channels managed by My Density Matters. Additionally, these stories may be used to advocate for improvements in breast cancer screening legislation or medical guidelines to prevent missed breast cancer diagnoses, and\/or call for additional breast cancer screening.<\/p>\n

Confidentiality and Anonymity.<\/strong> Your name will be used along with your story and a link to your profile or website if agreed upon and provided. No other contact information will be shared. Please note that once your story is shared publicly, it will be accessible to a wide audience.<\/p>\n

Sensitive Content.<\/strong> Please be aware that the stories shared through the “My Story Matters” program may contain sensitive and emotionally distressing content. By submitting your story, you acknowledge and consent to the potential impact of sharing your experiences with others.<\/p>\n

Voluntary Participation.<\/strong> Participation in the “My Story Matters” program is voluntary. You have the right to withdraw your story from the program at any time by contacting info@mydensitymatters.org.<\/p>\n

Editing of Stories.<\/strong> My Density Matters reserves the right to make mild edits to your story for readability, grammar, and clarity. My Density Matters will not change the tenor or basic content of your story.
